Essay celebrates its 10th anniversary. It is an important achievement which confirms the value of the project which is carried on by a strong company, since we became a reference point as far as the high-frequency and in-line welding is concerned.
The person who is telling its story is Giuseppe – the inventor and founder of Essay Group – who will takes us down the memory lane. Giuseppe, how does your work story and the creation of Essay group begin?
I felt like I couldn’t express myself professionally to the fullest, so after working for 7 years as an employee in a company of Northern Italy, I decide to start my own company. I founded a company which produced floating mattresses with other business partners. It lasted 25 years and it involved 25 workers. This business grew over the years. Then, this project came to an end as well. 10 years ago I started again in November with Essay Group, focusing on the innovations and mostly on paramedical products such as anti-decubitus mattresses.
When did the company start to grow?
We started to grow when my children became part of the company, building a wide sales network. We also went through tough moments as it happens to any business but thanks to our preparation, competence and professionalism we rose again. The high-frequency welding business is always moving and expanding: now the curve is growing.
What do you expect in the near future?
We are looking forward to a digitalized factory, which involves the 4.0 evolution program. We work very well online but we also have to admit that the word of mouth and the real life connections are fundamental and they will always be (especially when it comes to positive reviews). Our business connections make us grow and start new projects, so that we can create and launch new products. We have no limit for the future. In our company: we share success. This allows us to dare and grow even more.
How would you describe today’s solution by Essay Group?
The solutions can be used and customized for any business. Essay Group is renewing and I must thank my children for their entrepreneurial spirit and all the team for their professional competence. We have no project boundaries. We are always ready to suggest new ideas and we are convinced it’s the best way to work. An example? The panel with the magnetic backrest which is used for massages inside the shower boxes, which it was proposed 5 years ago.
