With the aim of successfully facing new challenges and new productions, Essay’s research and development department has developed an efficient system capable of carrying out continuous seam welding on eco-leather, wadding, PVC and jersey, ranging from the basic processing (2.5 cm line) to more complex designs. HF welding in this respect represents a modern technology that responds to various sectors’ desire to find processes that let you create items with extraordinary resistance and without traditional seams. The products made with continuous high-frequency welding do not have re-seams or re-stitching and are characterised by lightness, softness and elasticity. Thanks to in-line HF welding, Essay is able to guarantee products characterised by resistant and attractive minimal joints.
Thermoformed fabrics do not have any seams which results in lightness and extreme elasticity, all of which ensures outstanding robustness.
The thermo-welding technique can be adopted using various types of fabrics and is highly sought-after in the finishing of fabrics bonded with materials such as MTP, URL or polyurethane foam of various thicknesses for the interior furnishing and contract sectors.
Using in-line welding allows the customer to exalt the material by giving it a new shape as in-line welding is a process that is carried out directly on the roll of material chosen by the customer and therefore allows great flexibility in customisation.
These fabrics are usually used for the creation of murals, beds, sofas and, in placed print, to create seats, armchairs, bags and accessories.
