The materials used can actually vary in hardness, thickness, colour and weldability.

HF welding allows you to create linear and clean connections by generating heat in an electric field with alternating speed which causes dielectric heating of the parts to be joined.

Of course, not all materials lend themselves to being welded using this technique: to be suitable, in fact, they must be characterised by thermoplastic molecules capable of transforming the oscillations caused by high frequency into thermal energy capable of heating the material and therefore of rendering the parts suitable for joining.

The most common materials that are compatible with high frequency or radio frequency welding processes are polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyurethanes (PU). Thanks to it extensive experience in the field of HF/RF welding, Essay is also now able to use this type of technology on different materials such as eco-leather, fabrics and the like. Provided that the substances used contain a (even minimal) component of PVC, in fact, these are compatible with the processes described.

Moreover, thanks to the application of combined technologies such as heat or cold, Essay is able to perform high-frequency processing on leather in both high and low relief, hot engravings for labels, thermo-adhesive applications and logos in high frequency.
